    I'm sorry its taken me so long to find this blog. My Father was a William Cowan, and his father too. All resident in Belfast. My Grandfather was a strict teetotaller and as a child I remember him warning me about the perils of strong drink!I have no knowledge of their forefathers but it amuses me to think they may have been the distillers of the perilous stuff!
